Include:
- Your name
- Who or what entity you represent, if you do (ie. are you an agent, from a publishing house, the author’s sister, etc)
- Title(s) of the book
- Format the book is being offered in (sorry, I don’t do e-books unless they’re VERY short)
- Description of the book, including genres and a brief summary
Rules and Regs:
I retain the right to decline your offer. If I do so, it is probably because I can see from your description that the book isn’t my cup of tea. All publicity may be good publicity, but think of it as me saving you from having to chant that mantra over and over.
I will probably get around to reading and reviewing the book within a few months. If something prevents me from getting to it in a timely fashion, I will let you know.
Per FTC guidelines, I may have to disclose where the book comes from. Regular readers will know that I usually do that anyway.
If you’re thinking of sending me something, please take a look around the blog first. Get an idea of what I like and what I hate.
Of course, this will probably involve mailing addresses, it would be really nice if you make yourself appear as not creepy as possible. Thanks.
