Ok, so, I’ve become addicted to word-related challenges. Hence, I had to leap on the bandwagon when I saw this…
The 50 Book Challenge: To read 50 books over the course of a year.
Well, goshgollygeewhiz! When I see things like that I always go, “Hell, I can do that!” This blog’s archives aren’t as encouraging- I count 26 reviews for books read since March, plus 9-ish I have yet to review. That makes for well under 50. The founder of this event says it’s more to make you think consciously about what you’re reading rather than to strive for a goal. I’m cool with that.
…I’d have to read four and a half books a month to make it. (I exclude November, during which I WRITE books.) I’ll never manage, but I want to give it a shot anyway.
The official tally begins now! Return to this post for a complete list.
NOTE: Books that aren’t linked to a review have mini-reviews here: #1-20, #21-52
